With three decades of experience, John’s legal journey has taken him across the globe, including living in Tokyo, Japan, where he worked in the legal department at IBM. His international experience has given him unique insights into the intricacies of US and global business operations and the legal challenges that often arise.
John is recognized as a sought-after public speaker and lecturer in the areas of risk management, compliance and employee benefits. He is a paid speaker for state and regional risk managers across the Southeast, where his insights and expertise in these critical areas are highly valued.
In addition to his legal practice, John serves as General Counsel for several small to mid-size businesses. His role as General Counsel involves providing strategic legal advice, ensuring compliance, and safeguarding the legal interests of these businesses. Furthermore, John serves on numerous corporate and non-profit boards, where his guidance and expertise are instrumental in shaping corporate strategies and decisions.
